How the Lahore map was built

The Gazette supplies town membership. PULSE supplies indicative mouza shapes. We reviewed the join one row at a time and publish the remaining gaps.

Nishter Town: Dullu Kalan and Dullu Khurd

The 2026 Gazette lists Dullu Kalan and Dullu Khurd separately. The reviewed PULSE feature names Dulu Khurd in English and Dullu Khurd and Kalan in Urdu. We can locate the combined area, but the source does not provide the dividing line between the two Gazette estates.

Wahga Town: Wahga

No distinct Wahga feature in the PULSE extract.

How each match was reviewed

Each Gazette row was compared with the PULSE English name, Urdu name and legacy tehsil. The review then checked one-to-one use and the six nearest geometries. A name-only match for Ravi Town's Khokhar failed this review. It was corrected from distant Kohar to nearby Khar.

Two invalid source polygons were normalized for web rendering. One required a zero-distance geometry repair. Multipolygons are shipped as separate valid parts. No missing legal shape was invented.

Dullu Kalan and Dullu Khurd are separate Gazette rows. The available PULSE feature covers both without a dividing line. We publish that as one shared source shape. Wahga remains listed with no shape.

Shadman Main Market resolves to Model Town.

The checked OpenStreetMap point falls inside the PULSE polygon named Icchra. The Gazette assigns Ichhra to Model Town. This locates the public place in the reconstructed layer. It says nothing about voter registration or a person's legal residence.

Status of the map

The shapes are a reconstruction. No official 2026 town geometry was published in the source bundle. PULSE says its cadastral lines are indicative and cannot be used as a legal boundary.

The service does not state a reuse licence for this layer. We preserve attribution and source hashes. Republication still carries a permission risk.

Do not use this map for title, tax, elections, cadastral decisions or any other legal determination.

Revenue estates are not Union Councils. We show the preliminary count assigned to each town, published on 2 June. We do not draw individual Union Council lines because the Form-I maps have not been obtained. The final list is reported due on 17 August 2026.
